The Grand Design by Stephen Hawking & Leonard Mlodinow, Hardcover, First UK Edition (2010). This is a true first edition, first printing (the print line reads: 2 4 6 8 10 9 7 5 3 1). Book in very good condition, in a similar unclipped dust jacket. The dust jacket shows a little general shelf wear. Overall a very nice, tight and clean copy. (See pictures). This book was a personal copy owned by the author Brian Aldiss OBE, part of his effects at the time of his death on August 19th 2017. This is authenticated by a slip enclosed with the book, signed by the Literary Executor of his estate. Also enclosed with the book is a TLS review of the book, dated December 10 2010.
