This is one of her scarcer novels, but this copy is in overall poor condition: covers a little battered with a significant tear one-third up from bottom of spine; edges worn, corners bumped, title on spine slightly impacted; binding a little off-centre; foxing and other marks internally; foxing on free end papers and, to a lesser extent, on the pages nearby; previous owner's name and address, with a rubber-stamped date, on front free end paper; the majority though of the text pages are quite clean and tidy; outside edges of the text a little roughly cut at production, especially on bottom edge.
