Original binding quarter leather & marbled boards, clear gilt embossed title to spine, condition, fair, rubbed etc. (strong hinges). Contents fair/good, original owner inscription to inside cover " John Diplock, Shipbourne, 1843" some folded corners, some pages with light foxing/staining , lacks rear blank endpaper, most pages good/clean, a tight copy. Lacks Frontice Portrait, 11, within fair/good condition, most have minor dirt/staining. 3 portraits very good. The Gospel Magazine seems to have been a Calvinist, Evangical, for Baptist Anglican Editor David Alfred Doudney (1811-1893). ( please see my other vols./dates of this title) 14 x 21.5cm Approx.
