1st edition, first printing hardcover in red cloth boards with gilt titles and Huntsman taking a 5 bar gate while another waits on cover. Personal volume of Horseman, Huntsman J. Stanley Reeve with his tasteful armorial bookplate on the inside frt cover. Crossed whip/horn, fox mask and hound on book backstrip. Tips bumped with cloth rubbed/broken on spine ends and one board tip showing. No writing or soil in the 280p text with top edge gilt and untrimmed edges. Hinge papers fine, some moderate foxing on endpps, few pages rippled in spots, but has no funky smells. A favorite companion by the fireside for any sportsman. Seller Inventory # 48813
