Pages 417-432 are misbound between pages 480 to 481. Though misbound text is complete. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, boards are a little discoloured with some marks, including a damp stain to the rear board. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities, with a small amount of loss of cloth. Small crack to the head of the front joint, with a small amount of loss. Very small chip to the backstrip. Hinges are starting but firm. Internally, binding has failed between pages 320 and 321, gatherings Y and Z detached but present.
