First Edition. Large quarto, 9 1/2 x 12 inches. The scarce Large Paper Copy with uncut fore and bottom edges (top edges gilt). Attractively bound by Riviere in full polished calf with triple fillet gilt ruling to covers, elaborately gilt spine and dentelles. Original blue green endsheets. Excellent woodcut illustrations by the Bewicks throughout. "Some of the largest wood engravings attempted by the by the Bewicks and by far the handsomest of their work." Ray, p.50.
