Includes Foreword by Joyce Meyer, Note from Mark Zschech, Introduction: Discovering the GOlden Thread, Epigraph: The Golden Secret, Notes, and About the Author. "Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it?" - Isaiah 43:19 NKJV. What an adventure! Following God is always an adventure. Renowned worship leader, wife, and mother, Darlene Zschech has known this truth for most of her life. But just when she thought she had it all under control - a successful career, a thriving church life, happy childre - the winds of change were beginning to blow. As Darlene recalls in her new book The Golden Thread, "Imagine my surprise when one morning, coffee in hand, Mark simply asked, "Would you like to have another adventure?" The Golden Thread is a passionate book from a passionate leader willing to follow the Holy Spirit wherever He leads. Rather than seeing her life as a zigzag of unrelated events, Darlene and her family have learned, like Abraham, to just say yes and go. Join Darlen as she traces God's goodness through her recent transitions - moving to a new city, starting a church - and as she faced the battle for her life, cancer. Your heart will be encouraged, and your faith will soar right along with Darlene's. "The golden thread of God's love for me was leading me in a new direction.as my heart slowly grew warmer and warmer to the idea, a calming wave of peace began to undergird my thoughts," writes Darlene. As Oswald Chambers said in his classic book My Utmost for His Highest, "Faith never knows where one is being led, but it knows and loves the One who is leading." "I know your faith will be lifted and increased with this new treasure, The GOlden Thread." - Chris Tomlin.…

Store description
Vero Beach Books is an antiquarian bookseller with a constantly updated inventory of rare out-of-print books, signed books, children's books, plus a large inventory of ephemeral items such as major U.S. city newspapers going back 100 years and more, golden and silver age fine condition comic books (soon to be added), and many other ephemeral items as well as much more recent popular volumes. We have been in business for 25 years, originally known as Emerson Books (named after one of our owner's favorite authors, to wit, Ralph Waldo Emerson) located back then in Westport, Connecticut. That said, we are here to serve you, to offer you fine quality items that are conservatively described so that you will always be pleasantly surprised and delighted with your purchase. Twenty-five years in the bookselling business has borne out our stellar service oriented reputation; the only difference is that now we are located in the almost always sunny and warm climate of Vero Beach, Florida. Again, we are here to serve you and, as was the case when we were previously known on ABEBooks.com as Emerson Books, we will continue to offer our very popular 100% free search service for those hard to find books rare and out of print books. Oftentimes we are also able to obtain these rare finds at very good discounts to our customers' so it is always worth contacting us in such cases!
