True first British (?)/American printing, 1932. No jacket. Date of 1932 to title page. Copyright 1932. Printed in the USA. Bound in original brown boards which appear to be either a variant binding (usually bound in blue boards) or the British first (New York & London appear to bottom of title page). Brown boards with (faded) gold lettering to spine and gold lettering to front are very good with a little pushing/bumping to corners, a few small marks, little fading/dulling/browning to spine, the odd minor bump/rub to edges, little patches of fading and a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Rough cut page bottoms. Pages bit tanned. Previous owner's name in pencil to front end-paper. Light crease to top edge of a few pages. End-papers tanned. Odd small mark/mild foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Odd small scratch to pages edges. Occasional small mark/scattered foxing to pages. No other faults.
