First edition bound in blue cloth with gold lettering. Good condition. The cloth covers show moderate soiling. Rubbing and fraying to the bo ok's corners and spine tips. there is a 3/4" tear to the cloth near th e base of the spine. The spine is rubbed and faded with heavy fraying to the spine edges. Former owner's bookplate on the front fly leaf. Th e front hinge is cracked at the half title page, the sewing is showing through. Tanning to the page margins. No dust jacket.
