This collection of 10 short stories was first published in 1988 as The Further Adventures of Slugger McBatt. Dedicated to Memo Luna on his Induction into the Mexican Baseball Hall of Fame. A sportswriter pursues an elusive Johnny Appleseed of baseball, an extraterrestrial masquerades as the Seattle Mariners mascot with tragicomic results, and three-middle-aged baseball buddies play a nostalgic pickup game in the women's wear section of the block-long store that now sits on their boyhood playing field. Has a different illustrated front cover than the original edition. In very good condition. I have around 20 Kinsella titles and more than 175 baseball novels and mysteries in stock. Discounts are available when you purchase multiple items on the same order.
