Sewn binding in vinyl-covered boards, in dustjacket. With erratum slip laid in. A solid copy of this privately-printed original edition (no additional printings noted), opening widely but sewn binding is firm. Hinges intact, but spine is slanted. Neat gift inscription front flyleaf, but no marks to text. Light spotting and toning to page-edges. Unclipped dustjacket (photo of a smiling Knauff on back panel) has edgewear, but no chips or major tears; paper is bulging out over the fore-edge, however. Seller Inventory # 1889
