Book is straight, square, faintly and uniformly age toned and, except shelving smudge on bottom edge near fore edge, free of markings and other blemishes; Cover is clean and bright, with sharp corners and joints, straight headcap, tail, spine, hinges and edges, and boldly legible, crisply distinct gilt lettering and silver band. Dust Jacket is unclipped (showing original USD $6.95 price) and mildly age toned, with 1" loss from tear at top of backstrip and 1/4" loss to top of rear panel, mild chipping and bumping along edges and at corners, tail and joints - none which impair legibility of lettering or clarity of design or Author image.
