Review
"I had only to read the two opening sentences to realize that I was once again in the hands of a superbly endowed storyteller" (New York Review of Books)
"Further evidence that Roth can do practically anything with fiction. His narrative power - the ability to delight the reader simultaneously with the telling and the tale - is superb" (Washington Post)
"His prose is immaculate yet curiously plain and unostentatious, as natural as brething" (Al Alvarez)

Store description
My late wife and I spent a lot of time accumulating books, especially during COVID. With her gone, the books are a reminder of her. Hence, it's time for me to Turn the Page. Update: Please note I have recently moved to New Mexico (September 2026) where our chihuahua, Pedro, will no longer have to slog through snow and ice - the state where my beloved wife and his mommy lived before we met. Thank you for all your orders since opening this storefront!
