hardback, quarto. A brief biography by the subjects son-in-law together with a foreword by his wife and thirty-two plates showing examples of his architectural and decorative work. Brown cloth lettered gilt to the spine, top edge gilt, fore and bottom edges rough-trimmed. Rubbed to the extremities and knocked to the bottom leading corners of the boards, thus good only. The binding remains tight and the body of text is unmarked but with some foxing to the plates. A gift inscription on the front free endpaper from May Crawley to C E Heath, the prominent Lloyds broker, whose business survives to-day under the Heath-Lambert signage, and whose Park lane House feature on two of the plates.
