Quarter burgundy leather over red cloth boards, spines titles & decorations in gilt; 8vo; 437pp in 2 volumes. Volume I: Being an Exotic Cookery Book or, Around the World with Knife, Fork and Spoon; 220pp and Volume II: Being an Exotic Drinking Book or, Around the World with Jigger, Beaker and Flask; 216pp. Illustrated with b/w photo frontispiece in each volume; limited to 1250 numbered (#140) copies. Plain red paper-over-board, numbered slipcase. This copy in VG condition moderate cover wear, lightly faded (as usual) spine titles, internally quite clean & bright. The uncommon slipcase is in fair condition with wear and cello-tape repairs in spots. For some reason, slipcase is numbered 143.
