Limited to 375 numbered copies, this being number 171. Original black cloth binding with bright gilt titles and none of the bumping and rubbing often found with this book. Pages unopened to top edges in right angled or French fold format as published and all twelve woodcuts present. Printed at the Curwen Press from the wood and in Rudolf Koch's Neuland type on Zander's hand made paper. Very slight toning to endpapers and page edges otherwise a firm, clean copy. Dustwrapper present but in fragments and poor state. Item 54 in Ian Rogerson's bibliography of Sir Francis Meynell and the Nonesuch Press.
