Volume I contains a folding facsimile of the title page of the 1624 edition, portraitts of the Duchess of Richmond, and of Pocahontas, and three large folding illustrated maps of Old Virginia, the Summer Isles, and Virginia. Volume II contains large folding maps of New England (with a portrait of Smith) and of Smith's "Adventures among the Turks and Tartars, two facsimile title pages, folding "Arms of Captain John Smith, " and two smaller illustrations. Foxing to front endpapers and first few pages of both volumes, with occasional faint spots of foxing throughout; ffep excised from Volume I; light soil and wear to red cloth covers, decorated in gilt.
