Every Sunday for the last thirty-four years, come hail, rain or shine, Home Service or Radio 4, a million would-be-gardeners - some with nothing more than a fly-blown pot plant to justify the title - tune in to listen to three voices persuading, arguing and sometimes meandering through the unending problems that beset gardeners at every level. Ken Ford, producer of Gardeners' Question Time, has now compiled a bumper book of the most famous gardening programme of all time. And the team give their own very special answers to questions raising from eelworm in potatoes to the cultivation of aspidistras. This delightful book combines the knowledge, wisdom and lore of this popular programme with all the charm and wit of the team - an essential addition to every gardener's bookshelf.illustrated.
