Item description from seller

First edition stated. Hardcover. 220 pp. Fine, some offsetting to the endpapers. In very good dust jacket with some wear at the extremities and at the flap folds, some light splotches to the rear panel. Jim Furlong was of tottaly undistinguished mien, utterly harmless acting and of so conventional appearance as to seem completely familar--all valuable attributes in detection of international espionage activies. This is the story of a manhunt on a gigantic acale, ranging from its opening scenes of the Orient Express run from Nuremburg to Paris, all the way to a small town outside of Washington.
