Original publisher's white vellum covers lettered gilt on spine and on front cover with additional gilt decoration of musical notation on cover. pp 24 text, 92pp illustrations. Music appreciation. Book was issued as a souvenir of the opening of the Vienna State Opera 1955, probably as a lavish gift. Small very slight abrasion to edge of 4 pages otherwise near fine in red cloth covered gilt lettered VG+ slip case which has slight soiling and rubbing.
