FINE map. 22"x16". Fold out map from US Pacific Railroad Survey, vol 5. Two horizontal & two vertical fold lines. Map from northern border at Oregon to Cape St Quentin on south. Partially hand colored in pastels. From Howes W504: House 1855 Executive Document # 129. Pristine BUT: Upper, top most, margin with two 1/2" fold line tears & an incorrect fold in lower left corner. These not into California proper. Flawless otherwise. Not even a single pin prick hole at any fold line intersection. FINE map. Sarony, Major & Knapp. 1st edition. Hand colored.
