From the Author
This book presents an opening repertoire based on gambits which start 1.e4. The Goering Gambit, Halasz Gambit, Ulysses Gambit and others are used to seize the initiative at the outset of the game. This book is recommended for amateur players, as the gambits may be a bit risky to use against Grandmasters. They are a lot of fun and place a great defensive burden on the opponent.
