Unique binding by Trevor Jones, 1984. Cloth solander box 33cm x 28.5cm. Inside are two volumes, text and plate, bound in grey-green pigskin and distressed foil finished leathers, with beige canvas and onlaid black morocco, exposed silver spines with cloth tape bands, cloth and press stud fasteners, each 31cm x 14cm, all edges silver, held together at fore-edges by cloth bridging spine and secured with zips stitched into black morocco, leather box housing Sony Walkman attached to bridging spine, together with loose cassette tape and headphones. Includes Trevor Jones's typed description card and ink display instructions. No. 3 of a limited edition of only 10 copies for designed bookbinders, from an overall edition of 50 copies, signed by both the author and publisher. Etched illustrations, some double-page, calligraphic text printed in red and black by Sally Johnson. Walkman tested, batteries not included. An excellent copy. A heavy book, additional postage may be required for orders outside the UK.
