First Edition Thus (1977); First Printing indicated by a complete numerical sequence. Very Near Fine in Wraps: shows only the most minute indications of use: just a hint of rubbing to the panels; a couple of pages may perhaps have been handled with damp fingers, imparting the faintest waviness to the outside edge; two tiny insect dots at the top edge of the text block; former owner's colorful bookplate affixed to the inside of the front cover; else flawless. The binding is square and secure; the text is clean. Free of creased or dog-eared pages. Free of any creases to the covers. A handsome, nearly-new copy, showing a bit of very mild wear and several minor, unobtrusive flaws; not quite absolutely pristine, but remains very close to it. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. (8 x 5.35 x 0.4 inches). xiv, 144 pages. Forward by Katherine Royce. Edited by Ralph Henry Gabriel. Attractive Cover design by Jack Brodie of a a frontier woman, but we are not sure she is Ms. Royce. Language: English. Weight: 6.8 ounces. This title was first published in 1932 in hardcover by the Yale University Press. Trade Paperback. First Edition Thus (1977); First Printing indicated by a complete numerical sequence. …
