An early account of upland bird shooting in New England. " A classic on the shooting of ruffed grouse." (Phillips p 156) A notoriously fragile binding, this copy in good condition with moderate cover soiling; inked Christmas presentation (1912) on front endsheet along with some offsetting plus a small blemish to upper corner.
