Item description from seller
First edition, first printing, of this collection of the fundamental texts of modern logic. This edition includes the first translation into English of Frege's Begriffschrift. Each paper is introduced by a note that sets it in perspective, explains its importance, and points out difficulties in interpretation. An extensive bibliography is included" (jacket). Octavo. Half-tone portrait frontispiece, formulae in the text. Original black cloth, spine lettered and ruled in gilt. With dust jacket. Minimal bumping and rubbing, slight lean to spine, minor foxing to edges; slight rubbing, creasing, and toning to clipped jacket, loss to rear panel where price sticker removed, a couple of short closed tears to extremities: a very good copy indeed in like jacket.…
