Add to basketoundation's Edge Volume Four of the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov (author of "Foundation", "Foundation and Empire", "Second Foundation" etc.) Hardcover First Edition - First Printing New York: Doubleday, 1982. Dust Jacket art by Joe Caroff. $14.95 cover price. (First UK edition published by Grafton.) Copyright 1982 states "First Edition" on the copyright page with back gutter code M36, indicating a first printing of the first edition.
Fine- in Fine- Dust Jacket. A very nice copy, but has some of the typical shortcomings of Doubleday editions from prior to circa 1985. outwardly exceptional. Some natural aging to the text-block but much less toning than I've seen on other copies, and tiny hint of reading wear, almost unnoticeable. The dust jacket is almost fine, and completely intact without chipping or tearing, some crinkling to the top spine, and nicks to the lower spine, right lower corner, and left-hand upper back corner. Still a perfectly presentable copy. Priced to sell.
Continuation of the Foundation series begun with "Foundation", "Foundation and Empire", and Second Foundation 1951 to 1953 published by Gnome Press. Now a made-for-cable/streaming series on Apple+.
NOTE: All modern books with dust jackets come with dust jacket covers.
ALSO: The pictures are of the actual items for sale. (The pictures are NOT stock photos.)
Shipping: Media mail $6.95, priority mail shipping in a padded mailer, $12.50, or in a medium priority mail flat-rate box, $19.95, In this cast the best fastest shipping for the price is the padded mailer since this is a small book. For UK and international, use the Global shipping option. I ship Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, sometimes Fridays, but not on Saturday or Monday.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All sales are generally FINAL. I do NOT accept returns because of buyer's remorse, "it was a gift but the recipient already had it", or "I found the same book(s) at a better price". I am not selling new items to compete with other retailers. Returns are only accepted because of significant discrepancies regarding edition and/or condition of which I try to be very thorough in researching the edition/printing as well as describing ALL condition issues. So make sure you're 100% positive you desire one of my items before making a purchase.

All sales are typically final unless edition/printing and/or condition is not as described. My operation is small enough that I don't have time to deal with buyers who change their minds about purchases. So all buyers, please make purchasing decisions selectively!
