Adam & Charles Black 1908 1st edn 1st printing hardback. Lovely decorative covers with only minor rubbing/marking. Nice bump-free sharp corners. Page block shows worn gilt to top edge. Rest of page-block quite foxed. No names or markings.Scattered foxing throughout, mostly to margins.Foxing heavier at prelims. i-x, pp249,6 pages ads at rear. Complete with 50 fine clean tissue-guarded and captioned colour plates painted by Ella Du Cane. One plate with guard attached is loose but in fine order and could be easily tipped back in. Very good.
