In addition to the leading articles of the day, this issue features a full-page color illustrated front page with black and white photographs (duplicated on the front board). Also included in section four (p. 26) is an illustrated article on the Robert Hungerford Normal and Industrial School in Eatonville, Florida, the home of Zora Neale Hurston. Founded in 1899, it became one of the leading colored educational institutions in the South. This section also features large illustrated advertisements for local African-American physicians, three African-American churches, and the new Masonic Temple built by the Colored Masons of Florida in 1913 (now on the National Register of Historic Buildings). Ex-library copy with bookplate. Browning and chipping at the edges, a fair sound copy. *OCLC* locates only one copy.
