8vo. [12] + 304p. Contemporary sheep-backed boards, gilt.Comprehensive flora of the sea shores of the Veneto region, containing many species not listed by Zannicheili in his plant list of 1735. Ruchinger (1761-1847), a German botanist and gardener from Trieste, was head gardener at the Botanic Garden of San Giobbe in the Veneto.
