Item description from seller

First U.S. Edition, 1874. Tightly bound in brick red cloth with gilded imagery and titles and beveled edges. All 42 illustrated plates are present, as issued. The binding shows moderate edgewear and spotting, rubbing to the corners and a small, 1/4" snag to the cloth on the spine. There is damp staining to the top margin of the front flyleaf, the "Jules Verne's Works" page (inserted after the title page) and to the eight pages of the publisher's catalog in the rear. The contents show lessor signs of damp staining and minor smudging. Still a "good only" copy of a scarce title. Insured domestic Priority Mail and international shipping may require added postage charges.
