Crease at top left center of front cover, smaller wrinkle at top right corner; very small amount of marginal age-toning. Very good plus, very handsome condition. Dana Howard's first book about Venus as she claimed it actually is. Pursuant to a seance with medium Beatrice Lilly Candler in April of 1955, Howard became the third well-know claimed alien contactee, after Albert Coe in the twenties and George Adamski in 1952. A spiritualist sort from childhood - along the lines of a new-agey person today - she differed from other contactees in that she was not impressed with what was to her a faddish the notion of UFOs, and was not contacted that way herself. Later books by Howard include Diane: She Came From Venus, Over the Threshold, Vesta, the Earthborn Venusian, Up Rainbow Hill, The Keys to the Citadel of Space, The Strange Case of T.Lobsang Rampa, and The Kingdom of Space.
