Hobson; original printed pictorial wrappers with the flag in color; Patriotic verses about the Battleship Maine, Theodore Roosevelt, the Rough Riders, Admiral Dewey, Richmond Hobson, etc. With several monochrome photo illustrations. Uncommon; OCLC locates only one copy. On t.p.: To all who appreciate the fact that life is evermore a compound of tears and laughter, the rhymer sends greeting. "May peace our steps attend!" Some fairly light soiling, a bit of wear to the spine tips with a small loss of paper, a few corners creased. Generally else very good condition. Seller Inventory # 16951
