".his voice heavy and slow. 'This Blue Death is aimed at the destruction of all low-grade intelligences.'" Editor Greenberg, Martin. Five Science Fiction Novels. New York, New York: Gnome Press, Inc. 1952. First Printing. 8-1/2" x 6". [1], 382, [2]. DJ soiled, with moderate edgewear, chipping. Inexpertly repaired with tape. Age toned, two stickers on back paste down endpaper. Collecting works from van Vogt, Fritz Leiber, Jack Williamson, Page and Knight, this book is a great introduction to classic science fiction between two covers. Basil Davenport described the collection as, "three hits, one near miss, and one bad miss," declaring it "almost always at least entertaining, and at its best provocative". It will be up to you to decide which stories are which. $25 The Science-Fantasy Publishers: A Bibliographic History, 1923-1998 .
