The spine ends and corners of the covers are very subtly bumped and rubbed, and the top edge of the text block is ever so slightly foxed. The endsheets are a bit discolored along the hinges, and the pages are browned. With the dust jacket featuring the art of Virgil Finlay, in very good condition. Lightly rubbed and soiled. Reginald 12222. Robert Shirley Richardson was an astronomer at Mt. Wilson and Palomar Observatories, the author of a college textbook on astronomy, and advisor to Hollywood on movies involving space adventures.
