[xix] 439pp. Blue cloth boards with gilt title to spine and reproduction of gilt symbol from an old seal to front panel. "With compliments from the Compiler (signed) Henry FFiske on the fep. Many plates, folding pedigrees , a coloured coat of arms and additional plates including a silhouette of Arthur Edward Jackson "to whom the author is much indebted". Chapters on Ffiskes of Laxfield and Cratfield; Ffiskes of Norton and Rattlesden; Ffiskes of Shimlinthorne, Kettlebaston and Thorpe Morieux. Fiskes of Wendon Mabo, Fulbourn and Elmdon; Fiskes of Chediston, Metfield, and Norwich.Americam families. An envelope on the rear pastedown contains 3 letters from Jackson to Ella White Ford , of Whitford" South Euchid, Ohio, another family member and other notes. An extensive list lof handwritten names on the prelims has been written by Ella White Ford. This copy from "The Western Reserve Historical Society" in Ohio with their bookplate on the front pastedown and blind stamp, recording that the library was gifted the book from the Estate of Mrs.Walter C. White. Heavy book which has resulted in the ties on the rear gutter giving way. The book needs recased. A very extensive and detailed and illustrated family history. with additional notes and letters. Extra postage at cost may be necessary for overseas postage. See scans and email for more.
