Fine paperback copy. Particularly and surprisingly well-preserved; tight, bright, clean and especially sharp-cornered. Literally as new.; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 148 pages; Description: 148 p. : chiefly ill. Subject: Design --Advertising --Posters --Sex equality. Summary: In this revealing 160-page book with 206 full-color posters - we are presented with women stepping out of the confining traditional roles in which they were cast and exercising their new-found liberation. We see them taking to the roads on bicycles, getting behind the wheel of an automobile (and even brazenly thumbing their noses at male drivers), taking the helm of a boat, hoisting an aperitif, attending a ball unescorted - and we are provided with glimpses into women's burgeoning, nascent sexual freedom. 1 Kg.
