Thick Large Octavo. 918 pp. This superb commentary, the culmination of Jerone Quinn's life's work on the Pastorals brought to completion by William Wacker provides a fresh, readable translation of 1 and 2 Timothy together with notes and comments on this important section of Scripture. The notes sections of the book offer detailed philological analysis of many of the words used in these two Pastoral Epistles. The comment sections guide readers through the complicated theological and practical issues facing the heirs of Paul in the Christian church. This work offers the best of current research on 1 and 2 Timothy while demonstrating the high standard of scholarly excellence. A fine copy bound in dark blue cloth, spine lettering in copper, in a fine dust jacket.
