Add to basketFirst edition of First Hunger by Jo Anne Lee, published in 1973 by Christopher's Books, Santa Barbara, California. Issued as Number Two in Christopher's Hip-Pocket Series, this edition was printed by Gary Albers and designed by Melissa Albers, with hand-collation by Cynthia Rogers Vaiden. Limited to 1,000 copies, this chapbook captures the Santa Barbara small-press aesthetic of the early 1970s - intimate, handmade, and visually bold. The cover features a double black-and-white photographic portrait with vivid red title script, reflecting the raw confessional tone of Lee's work.
