Their losses rose to 75%: their survivors pioneered Britain's airmail services. The story of the Independent Force, told here for the first time, abounds in amazing incident. The evidence which has been researched by Alan Morris is presented against the political, industrial and social background and the author shows that if the lesson of I.F. Operations had been properly learned in the 1930's, RAF Bomber Command might well have crushed NAZI Germany in 1942.* A NEAR FINE copy with some dust jacket wear & slight age reducing it to VG+.*.
