About the Author: Jonas Tritschler is a managing director at FALK IT Audit & Consulting GmbH. As a certified accountant and holder of a PHD in accounting, taxation, and auditing, he trains CPAs in SAP for performing financial audits and internal control tests over the preparation of financial statements.Jonas is responsible for the audit and evaluation of IT systems and applications, and ensures the security and compliance of applications, especially in the sensitive areas of accounting and finance. In this role, he benefits from his experience as an SAP user, which he gained over many years as interim manager and CFO.

Stefan Walz is chief business process architect for SAP S/4HANA financials at SAP. He has more than 25 years of SAP financials experience through his work in SAP consulting and various roles in financials development. He is co-inventor of the Universal Journal management accounting and event-based revenue recognition. Today, Stefan is responsible for the process integration of the financials component to customer projects, service, and sales in SAP S/4HANA. He regularly works together with CO-Innovation customers.

Reinhard Rupp is a professor for controlling, finance, and accounting. With many years of experience as an auditor and 18 years of experience as a top executive/CFO in various companies, including responsibility for IT/SAP systems, he has a profound understanding of the practical requirements and an eye for the strategic possibilities of the new architecture.

Nertila Mucka is a senior consultant at FALK IT Audit & Consulting GmbH, holding a master's degree in information technology and finance and accounting systems. She has 6 years of experience in reviewing accounting and ERP systems, especially finance and Basis components in SAP for compliance and security purposes. She is a co-teacher for SAP for certified accountants in Germany, and develops automated tools for reviewing settings for the SAP S/4HANA environment.
