NF quality book, stated "First printing"; 1978, Time-Life Books; 11-3/8" x 9-3/8"; 184 numbered pages; navy blue leatherette binding with a 6-5/16" X 5-1/4" color applique on the front panel; no jacket as issued. One of the titles in "The Seafarers" series. The exterior is pristine: no corner bumps or edge dings, no scrapes or other sort of damage; head and heel of spine intact and not damaged; applique and gilt completely intact. Except for owner's name/date inked on the backside of the FFEP, the interior is spotless, free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type. Enclosed is the flyer from the editors that accompanied the book and introducing the series. As is typical of Time-Life books, a very readable text with numerous and excellent visuals.
