A beautifully produced and widely admired guide to the world's most celebrated fly-fishing destinations. Author Chris Santella interviews renowned anglers and outdoor experts to assemble fifty premier fisheries spanning North and South America, Europe, Africa, and the Pacific. Each chapter provides background on the fishery, recommended techniques, seasonal guidance, and travel insights. Lavishly illustrated with large-format color photography, the book combines practical angling knowledge with evocative travel writing. Featured locations range from classic trout waters in Montana and Patagonia to the saltwater flats of the Bahamas and the tiger-fish waters of the Zambezi River. Condition assessed as Near Fine in Near Fine dust jacket. The hardcover boards remain exceptionally clean with only faint signs of handling. Binding is tight and square, and the interior pages are bright and unmarked aside from a small contemporary gift inscription dated 2007 on the front endpaper. The dust jacket is crisp and attractive with only very light shelf wear and minimal surface rubbing. Edition and printing determined from the copyright page number line (10 9 8 7 6), indicating an early printing of the first edition issued by Stewart, Tabori & Chang in 2004.
