Item description from seller

READ more about : big red groaner buoy. Also : Government Wharf, Big Murdoch MacDougall, family orchestra, and Cape Breton village. 32 page (UNpaginated) look at coming of age (musically) in Nova Scotia. The art work is by Susan Tooke and clearly shows the imprint of someone with a Nova Scotia background. Cond : Cream coloured paper wrapper with rust coloured lettering. I think that might be Angus and Murdoch MacDougall on the cover - by the bay. Colours bright, binding tight. No names nor marks. Light general wear. Very good reading copy. QUote (p. 30) : " Suddenly Angus needed to be alone with his happiness. He held his fiddle close to him and walked down the long beach. The sounds of his ._._._. . ".

Store description

I am a small home-based business so I may be difficult to reach by phone. I'm in the Mountain time zone. I've been passionate about books for approximately 30 years. Thank you for thinking Wagon Tongue.

Specialty

western canadiana, ephemera & rarities, horse and horse-related, cowboy stuff, indians and North American first peoples, things that catch my eye - including (non)books, mere bagatelles
