With the bookplate of Canadian statesman Sir Frederick William Borden. 8vo., full cont. tan calf, raised bands, gilt borders in compartments, gilt borders on covers, leather spine labels, T.E.G., (xvi), (158)pp. With the half title. Fine. A variant issue unknown to Brewer, comprising the sheets of the first edition of 1814 with a newly printed titlepage. The first edition was published by "Cawthorn" and the second for "Gale and Fenner" and it contained and expanded text of some twenty pages. Not in Brewer. Seller Inventory # 4950
