About the Author

Aylin Buran is currently a doctoral student in the Adult Education program at Boğaziçi University, Istanbul. She gained her B.A. in psychological counseling and an M.A. in adult education from Boğaziçi University. The author has worked as counselor with music students at high school level for the Faculty of Music at Bilkent University in Ankara. She has also worked as a part-time instructor at Boğaziçi University and Bilkent Universities.
