These two books were both written by JK Rowling, author of the Harry Potter books, under the Wizard author's names of: Newt Scamander [FANTASTIC BEASTS & WHERE TO FIND THEM] & Kennilworthy Whisp [QUIDDITCH THROUGH THE AGES] ~ The books were first sold in March of 2001 and sold out quickly. NOW OOP [Out Of Print]. JK ROWLING & HARRY POTTER ~ Two UK First Edition, First Printing paperback books for sale (both were only ever released in paperback in the UK) The books cannot be purchased in shops now, as they are out of print (OOP)! and getting rarer by the day!!!!!!! "Quidditch Through the Ages" ~ This limited edition is a copy of the volume in Hogwarts School Library where it is consulted by young Quidditch fans on an almost daily basis. If you have ever asked yourself where the Golden Snitch came from, or wondered about the evolution of the flying broomstick!, or wanted to study 'Anti-Muggle Precautions', or wanted to know the difference between ancient and modern quaffles: then you will need a copy of this book to find all the answers! Both books have foreward's written by Dumbledore himself! (FAB FUN). ~~ "Fantastic beasts and Where to Find Them" , Resides in almost every wizarding household in the country. Now, for a limited period only, Muggles too have the chance to discover where the Quintaped lives, what the Puffskein eats, and why it is best not to leave milk out for a Knarl!" It says on the first page of this book that it belongs to 'Harry Potter', but not for long if you buy it! it'll belong to you. In the introduction to the author 'Newt Scamander, it says that he was born in 1897, which makes him incredibly old! he must be about 114 years old by now. [Crikey!!]. This book tells you about all the different characters you meet all the way through your harry Potter journey: Doxy: [sometimes known as a biting fairy] - [OUCH!], FWOOPER: is an African bird with extremely vivid plumage; orange, pink, lime green or yellow !!, and you will meet a little Gnome which is a little garden pest, and can grow to the amazing height of one foot [12 inches]. Goodness me., or a wee Kelpie!, sounds friendly but he's a real demon ! [EEK! HELP!], and if you're not careful; you might run in to a YETI! [AAARRRGGGHHH!!!] ~ In this little book you will meet all the characters through Harry Potters wizardly travels. You will know all about each of them in great detail as this book is your A to Z of them all. ~ Both "Quidditch Through The Ages" and "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them" have those all important numbers : 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, meaning that these are both TRUE FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTINGS. I guarantee all of my descriptions and will be happy to accept returns only if there is an error in these descriptions. If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.

Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Modern_First_Printings, EAST SUSSEX, United Kingdom, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.

If you select 'Priority' as the postal option, you will get the fastest option, which is as follows: UNITED KINGDOM: SPECIAL DELIVERY & [PRIORITY] - Delivery is 1 day and offers full insurance, and item requires a signature upon receipt. RECORDED DELIVERY & [STANDARD] - Delivery is 2 to 3 working days and insurance is up to £50, and item requires a signature upon receipt. OVERSEAS: EUROPE & PRIORITY [AIRMAIL]- Delivery is between 4 to 6 working days and full insurance is offered and a signature is required upon receipt.
