The spine of the book has been sunned. Some sunning to the spine of the cloth. Rubbing to the spine of the book down both sides of the spine strip and to the head and tail of the spine with a some superficial splitting along the spine strip. Tear of 4 cm across the spine strip, which appears to have been repaired in the past. The cloth has been nicked at the head and tail of the spine with some loss of a couple of mm. Rubbing to the corners of the boards. One corner has been bumped. Book plate to the front paste down. Neat ink name inscription to the front end paper. Slight splitting to the front inner hinge. Internally clean. Several unopened pages. Split between 288-289 pages with several binding cords severed. A good copy of this book.
