Ved Mehta's first book, written while a student at Pomona College, describing his education in the United States, first at the Arkansas School for the Blind and then at Pomona. The written dedication, dictated by Mehta: "For Marjorie & Herb who providentially timed their wedding to coincide with the issue of this book, hot off the press. With affectionate greetings," He signed the dedication "Ved".
