THE FIFTH PESTILENCE & THE TINKLING CYMBAL AND SOUNDING BRASS, Payson & Clarke, 1928, first American edition, vg+ in just about vg dust-wrapper with a small piece missing from the center of the rear dust-wrapper panel near the dust-wrapper spine and some effacement to a small section of the lettering of the front dust-wrapper panel. As one of the leaders of the symbolist movement in Russia, these two short novels are considered his best works of fiction. Translated by Alec Brown. Very scarce.
